In this Youtube video, Inside Edition covers a story on a narcoleptic dog. While this is by no means a scientifically valid station, this is a good visual of narcoleptic symptoms. When the dog experiences excitement from the cameramen, or from eating, it loses muscle function much like cataplexy.
